SUPPORT the Picnic with Gilly at Macnut Farm, 13 Lello Road in Assagay on Sunday, 3 June at 12.30pm.

Gillian Pierce, known as Gilly, who lives and is cared for at Acacia Care in Botha’s Hill, is in desperate need of financial assistance.

This courageous woman has multiple sclerosis (MS) and can only move her head, yet she never gives up and is an inspiration to all who meet her. With her dwindling finances, Gilly wanted to something to support herself, but her options were limited.

Gilly is a mouth painter. For someone who never painted in her life, her artwork is just awesome. She also gives motivational talks and sells her amazing artwork in the forms of cards, bookmarks and tags.

She is finding it difficult to raise the funds that are required for her to live. Gilly’s artwork will be on sale at the picnic.

Tickets are R150 each and includes a picnic platter and entertainment by Carmen Rodriguez and student singers.
