THE enigmatic Robert Langdon is once again roped into a thrilling mystery when his good friend, billionaire computer-scientist, Edmond Kirsch, is brutally shot and killed before he could reveal a major scientific discovery he had made – which would shake the foundations of all religions.

Days before his death, Kirsch, met with three prominent members of the Parliament of the World’s Religions to inform them of his discovery – which answers two of life’s most important questions: “Where did we come from?” and “Where are we going?” – and to warn them that he plans to announce it to the world.

The religious leaders, shaken by his discovery, try to persuade him to keep his discovery a secret, however, Kirsch, who is a well-known atheist and futurist, is determined to reveal it all.

In a shocking turn of events, he is shot and killed minutes before he could reveal his secret discovery during a world-wide live show.

Langdon vows to find out who killed his friend and in honour of his memory make his discovery known to the world. And so it’s another race against the clock to unravel the mystery.

If you are a fan of Dan Brown’s series make sure to get your hands on the fifth instalment, Origin – it will not disappoint.

I love how Brown weaves real life art, religions and locations into his novels.

It adds a sense of breath-taking realism.

This book’s combination of technology, science and modernism versus the ancient and powerful religions is intriguing. Get ready for a thought-provoking roller-coaster adventure.
