KZN pianist pays homage to French composer, Debussy

Tickets are R100 each and includes refreshments at interval.

CHRISTOPHER Duigan’s Music Revival honours this month’s centenary of the French composer Claude Debussy who died in Paris on 25 March 1918.

Performing a programme titled The Magical Musical World of Claude Debussy, KZN pianist, Duigan offers an exploration of some of the composer’s best known pieces.

The programme will include iconic items such as Clair de lune, Reflections on the water, The Girl with the Flaxen Hair, Arabesque No 1, Reverie and The Sunken Cathedral.

Duigan’s homage to Debussy can be heard at St Agnes Church in Kloof on Tuesday, 27 March at 7.30pm.

Tickets are R100 each and includes refreshments at interval.
