Rotary’s musical fund-raiser set to blow up a storm

The funds raised from the event will be used to help eliminate polio.

THE Rotary Club of Kloof will host the sensational fund-raiser, Blowing Up a Storm, on Thursday, 30 November at 6.30pm for 7pm at the St Agnes auditorium.

This is a fun-filled musical celebration and is sure to entertain family, friends and business associates.

The bring your own Barnyard-style form adds to the fun and affordability. Tables can seat between eight and 10 guests.

The well-known Cathy Peacock and her band, Platform Jazz, will lead the show while the six-piece Dixieland band has you tapping your feet along to the beat.

Natalie Rungan, who has just released her latest jazz CD, will also feature at the concert.

Proceeds from the show will be used in Rotary’s programme to eliminate polio, worldwide.

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation have offered to treble all contributions made by Rotary toward the eradication of polio.

Tickets are R150 per adult and are R130 for pensioners and children and can be booked at Computicket or Checkers. Contact 082 659 4659.
