Catch Leon Schanick live at Sunday Jazz Sundowners

Leon Scharnick will be joined by other talented jazz musicians at the show.

THE BAT Centre’s second Sunday Jazz Sundowners will include alto saxophonist Leon Scharnick along with other talented jazz musicians on October 8.

Over the course of his musical journey, he has performed with a number of prominent musicians and musical outfits including Kirk Whalum, Brian Thusi and the KwaZulu-Natal Philharmonic Orchestra.

Schanick also teaches music and runs his own quartet which is committed to playing original compositions as well as a host of standard tunes from the jazz tradition.
