The ending is what everyone is talking about… and if you’re not talking about it, you definitely haven’t given this book a read – and I really suggest that you do.

Meet Louise, a single mom working part-time in a psychiatrist’s office. She decides to go out one night and ends up kissing a handsome stranger at the bar.

The next day she meets her new boss, and as luck would have it, it is also the handsome stranger from the previous evening. He is also married.

Adele is his wife and boy oh boy are you in for the surprise of your life. This is where it gets weird. This is a love triangle like you never, ever seen.

Adele is the quiet, perfect wife, working hard on her marriage and trying to make her husband as happy as can be. David, however, is severely unhappy in his marriage and Louise is the perfect distraction. Adele also thinks Louise is the perfect distraction.

The story is told from Adele and Louise’s points of view and there is never a dull moment. This begs the question, what exactly did Adele do and why does David hate her so very much?

These characters are sometimes extensively evil. You have been warned. Page to page you are waiting for the ball to drop and when it does, you may want to sit back and just absorb that your life has been a lie.

Seriously, buy this book. Buy it now and then buy a copy for each of your friends so you can talk and cry and discuss the mind-blowing ending.

Also, if you have an issue with a supernatural element, then maybe don’t get a copy. But you shouldn’t let this stop you, it’s just that good.
