An evening of ‘Chemody’ by lunatics

John Vlismas and Aaron McIlroy have been making people laugh really hard for decades.

PREPARE for lunacy and a completely unique evening of belly laughter at the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre on Monday 26 June at 7.30pm as three favourite funny men: John Vlismas, Aaron McIlroy and Jem Atkins, join forces to help contribute towards medical expenses for theatre all-rounder, Themi Venturas.

John Vlismas and Aaron McIlroy have been making people laugh really hard for decades. They are old friends and have something else in common. Both did extensive work early in their careers with the legendary Themi Venturas.

Joining John and Aaron is another superb local comic, Jem Atkins, who is possibly as talented, but said to be much better looking than both of them!

“We will have plenty of jokes,” says Aaron, “and you will get a seat – if you book soon.”

What better way for Durban to rally and get Themi the treatment he needs than these three lunatics doing the stand-up comedy that has made them household names, and then answering questions from the audience and recounting stories of their most ridiculous experiences on and off stage.

This will be a night to remember, with hilarious comedy and an intimate, honest and meaningful look behind the curtain at what the show looks like from the other side.

Tickets are R225 and advance booking is possible through Computicket, who are waiving all commission costs to support this cause.

Call 0861 915 8000 or visit www.computicket.com, or buy ticketsdirectly at any Checkers Money Market Counter.

There will also be door sales on the night, subject to availability. For those who would like to support Themi and this fundraising initiative, but are unable to attend the show, please visit the following Go Get Funding link and consider a donation to https://gogetfunding.com/medical-costs-for-themi-venturas/

The better looking one, Jem Atkins.
