CELLIST, Aristide du Plessis, and pianist, Christopher Duigan, will perform Cello Song at St Agnes Church in Kloof on Thursday, 25 May at 7.30pm.
Du Plessis, a Westville Boys’ High School Old Boy, is the co-principal cello of the KZN Philharmonic Orchestra. He studied at the University of Cape Town and in Zurich, Switzerland.
Together with Duigan he will perform music by Tchaikovsky, Piazzolla and Faure as well as the Sonata No 2 for Cello and Piano by Ludwig van Beethoven.
