Beauty and the Beast showcased on KZN’s largest screen

If you are a movie fanatic, you simply must try out Nu Metro's Xtreme movie experience at Ballito Junction.

GUESTS were wowed at a pre-screening of Beauty and the Beast at the launch of Nu Metro’s Ballito Junction cineplex.

The remake of the beloved classic wasn’t aired on just any screen, but in the province’s first Xtreme cinema – home to the largest screen in KwaZulu-Natal.

As avid moviegoers waited patiently for the movie to start, they were treated to a variety of delicious snacks and cocktails normally only available in cinema giant’s VIP lounges.

The film was completely enhanced with the Dolby Atmos sound system as there was 360-degree sound with speakers overhead as well as throughout the cinema.

Xtreme cinemas are able to showcase films in full 4K UHD on a massive screen.

This is the highest resolution available in studio films, and it is further enhanced by the quality of RealD’s Precision White screen technology.

This made viewing any 3D movie brighter, especially after you pop on those trendy glasses.

“We’ve entered a new era in movie-going, by significantly improving the level and manner in which movies are viewed, along with the overall experience.

We’ve led the way with multi-format cinema options at most of our cineplexes nationwide,” said Nu Metro’s managing executive, Nitesh Matai.
