Fun galore at birthday celebrations
If you have little ones, mark Saturday, 27 August in your diaries for an action-packed morning.
TO mark its 40th birthday, The Birches, 1 Oribi Crescent, will host an activity-packed fun day on Saturday, 27 August from 8.30am to 1pm.
There will be a host of fun games for children to take part in, from egg and spoon races, pillow fights, water can drop, fishing, bean bag obstacle course and ten pin bowling to putt-putt, ball drop, a treasure hunt, Marie biscuit icing and spiderweb and jumping castle mazes.
It is free entry,but a R30 card can be purchased that will allow a child to take part in 10 games. Once all 10 games are complete the child will qualify for a special prize. At 12.30pm there will be the birthday cake cutting, and a gymnastics and drummies display.
There will also be food and beverages sold on the day.
