Wine tasting draws crowds

Proceeds from the event will go towards RHF's Soulfood campaign in which they hope to feed nearly 2000 people in Ntshongweni and Shongweni.

MANY people flocked to Robin Hood Foundation’s wine evening fundraiser at Westville Country Club on Wednesday evening, (27 July).

According to Kim Griffith-Jones, coordinator for RHF, the event was to raise funds for RHF’s Soulfood campaign in which they hope to feed nearly 2000

people in Ntshongweni and Shongweni in August.

Guests were welcomed with a glass of sherry, and enjoyed live music with local musician, Amy White, while tasting delicious cheeses, snacks and wines from Boschendal, Simonsig, Krone, L’aviner, Klein Constantia and more. There was also a table for brandy tasting with KWV and a preview tasting of Douglas Green Breweries craft beer range.

Lucky guests also won fantastic prizes during the raffle and auction.
