Mbuso Khoza to Jazz things up

Join Mbuso Khoza at Rivertown Beerhall on 102 Florence Nzama Street in Durban on Friday, 29 July, sharing the stage with a two man theatre piece that is set to complement and interpret his sounds.

SPOTLESS Worx Entertainment and eThekwini Municipality bring you Up Close and Personal with Mbuso Khoza. The award winning vocalist and songwriter has a rare musical talent that rose from the rolling hills of Eshowe in Northern KwaZulu-Natal which took the world music circuit by storm.

The Best Jazz Album Metro FM Award winner in 2013 has performed extensively in countries such as Senegal, Burkina Faso, Portugal, Switzerland, France and The Netherlands to mention a few. His repertoire is a delicate mix of deep traditional Zulu music infused with Jazz elements – showcasing the true depth of his artistic and diverse talent with Salif Keita and Richard Bona among many listed as influences of his sound. His vocal skills have thrilled audiences far and wide.

Join Mbuso Khoza at Rivertown Beerhall on 102 Florence Nzama Street in Durban on Friday, 29 July, sharing the stage with a two-man theatre piece that is set to complement and interpret his sounds. Also on stage will be Kwazi Ndlangisa, a South African award-winning performance poet, whose poetry is a fusion of dreams, visions and reality inspired by nature, language and life in rural areas.

Tickets are R100 at the door and food and drinks will be on sale. This initiative is supported by the eThekwini Municipality and aims to create whole healthy communities through music and it is presented by Spotless Worx Entertainment in conjunction with Gearzone and Remy Martin.
