RAINBOW Restaurant in Pinetown, in association with Concerts SA and South African Breweries, presents The Brother Moves On, with special guest performances from Zoe Molelekwa, Madala Kunene, Mabi Thobejane, Mdu Magwaza and Matthias Abaecherli, on Sunday, 3 July.

This special performance is part of the Concerts SA Venue Circuit which aims to foster a love and support for live music in communities. The Brother Moves On first performed at the Rainbow on a double bill with The Muffinz at the birthday bash in December 2015.

According to live music programmer at the Rainbow, Neil Comfort, The Brother Moves On is about roots, experimental music, art, storytelling and visual explosions, with a unique, brilliantly crafted performance.

“They are the fantastic youth of South Africa, they are the thinking, feeling, questioning, hopeful and bold South Africa. They showed us their artistic, storytelling through rhythmical music and performed so well that it lifted us. They are creating new stuff, which fills me with excitement and awe,” said Comfort.

Tickets are R80 each and doors open at 1pm. The Rainbow Restaurant is situated at 23 Stanfield Lane, Pinetown. To book, contact 031 702 9161.
