Enjoy the music of Baroque 2000 this Sunday

The church tea garden has now reopened and tea, coffee and also light breakfasts and lunches will be available.

BAROQUE 2000 will perform at the Church of the Monastery Mariannhill on Sunday, 26 June at 11.30am.

Eminent Cape Town harpsichordist, Erik Dippenaar, returns to make his second appearance with the ensemble, and will be the soloist in Bach’s Harpsichord Concerto in D, and in the English 18th century composer Philip Hayes’ Harpsichord Concerto in G.

The other works are Symphony Number One by William Boyce, a contemporary of Hayes, and two works by Handel, his Concerto Grosso opera six number two, and the Trio Sonata number six in G.

The church tea garden has now reopened and tea, coffee,and also light breakfasts and lunches will be available at the special rate for concert-goers at R30.

The tickets will be R140 at the door.
