Loyiso Gola tours Durban

COMEDY heavyweight, Loyiso Gola, will showcase his comedic antics at two venues in Durban during his tour.
This award-winning comedian is recognised as one of the most gifted South Africa has ever seen. For 15 years, his sharp wit, unmistakable charm and thought-provoking comedy style have been enthralling audiences all around the world.
As one of the country’s most decorated comedians, his one-man shows (‘Loyiso For President’, ‘Life and Times’ and ‘Professional Black’) have enjoyed ground-breaking success. He has several TV and movie credits to his name, including being on the cult comedy sketch show, ‘Pure Monate’, co-hosting a television show with Peter Dirk Uys, cameos on MTV Film’s ‘Bunny Chow’ as well as the buddy cop movie, ‘Blitz Patrollie’.
Your host for the evening will be Neville Pillay, hilarious stand-up comedian, accomplished writer and actor and award-winning morning radio show host on Lotus FM.
There are two support acts – Devin Gray of Cape Town and Beach from Durban. Resonating with audiences of all age groups, Gray’s career has already seen him perform on almost every comedic platform within South Africa as well as a few appearances in Europe. Beach is one of Durban’s hottest up-and-coming comedians and winner of the 2016 Gunslinger Young Guns Comedy Show Down.

The first show is at Mozambik, 9 Inanda Road in Hillcrest on Tuesday, 29 March at 8.30pm. Tickets cost R80 each and bookings are through 031 765 6556. The second show will be at Tina’s Hotel, 14 Beryldene Road in Kloof on Friday, 1 April at 9pm. Tickets costs R100 and booking is through 031 761 7843.
