Eighth Harry Potter story launches in July
Harry Potter fans are excited to read the book version of the play.
A SPECIAL edition of the script book of the stageplay, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts 1 & 2, will be launched on 31 July this year.
The hardcover edition picks up right where the book and movie ended, 19 years after the battle at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where Harry Potter waves off his children at Platform 9¾.
In a tweet, JK Rowling confirmed that it was not in fact the eighth book in the Harry Potter series, but a copy of the Special Rehearsal Edition script.

According to the Pottermore website, the Cursed Child book consists of the version of the play’s script at the time of its preview performances – which take place a few weeks prior to its launch on 30 July. This script book will later be replaced by a Definitive Collector’s Edition.
