Roxette to rock SA in 2016

Big Concerts confirmed that Roxette have added four South African dates to their celebrated world tour ‘XXX – The 30thAnniversary Tour’

ROXETTE will be kicking off their 30th anniversary tour in 2016, and Big Concerts confirmed that Roxette has added four South African dates to their celebrated world tour, XXX – The 30th Anniversary Tour.

The Swedish pop rock duo, consisting of Marie Fredriksson (vocals) and Per Gessle (vocals and guitar) was formed in 1986. The duo became an international act in the late 1980s when they released their breakthrough album, Look Sharp! Roxette went on to achieve nineteen UK Top 40 hits and several US Hot 100 hits, including four US number-ones with The Look, Listen to Your Heart, It Must Have Been Love and Joyride.

To mark the start of this very special year in Roxette’s record-breaking history, they will be performing in Durban on 2 February, 2016 at the ICC Durban Arena.

Over four years have passed since Roxette last visited South Africa to perform 10 sold-out shows between 2011 and 2012 on the world tour that followed the release of the album, Charm School, in February 2011.

Due to the phenomenal demand that they received on their last tour, fans are recommended to book their tickets quickly for these 2016 dates.

Tickets are now on sale from Computicket and www.bigconcerts.co.za.
