MTN Joyous Celebration heads to hometown for spectacular show
Gospel ensemble to perform their favourite hits from their 19th album titled Back to the Cross.
MTN Joyous Celebration, South Africa’s most celebrated gospel ensemble, will be making a massive come back to Durban following an uplifting sold-out performance at Sun City. They are set to perform their favourite hits from their 19th album, titled Back to the Cross, on 31 July and 1 August at the ICC in Durban.
This leg of the tour will also include the much-anticipated auditions where aspirant members of MTN Joyous Celebration can register via SMS to participate in the auditions. The contenders should send an SMS to 38054 with their name, ID number and indicate whether they are registering as vocalists or instrumentalists, and indicate the kind of instrument they specialise in. SMSes are charged at R10.
Applicants will need to go with the reference numbers that they will receive after they have registered. The SMS line is open and will be closed at 4pm on 24 July. Shortlisted and successful candidates will be informed at the end of September 2015.

The award winning comedian Elton Mduduzi Ntuli is another exciting addition to the show. Popularly known as ‘The First Ndebele Comic’, Elton is a storyteller of note who has hosted various events and functions, including gospel shows, and his set promises to bring inspiring and entertaining comedy to the show.
