Celebrate the art of dance with students

STUDENTS of the Karen Drake Dance Studio will showcase their talent in a show entitled, ‘Celebration of Dance’ at the Roy Couzens Theatre at Westville Boys’ High School from 21 to 23 June.

A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to the Ingane Yami Children’s Village. Karen Thomson said, “It is my 20th year of teaching and I am so excited to have some of my very first pupils dancing 20 years later in our show. Our dancers range from three-and-a-half to 24 years and older. They will be performing classical ballet, contemporary, tap, modern, the jive and hip hop numbers. Together with great music, stunning costumes and beautiful dancers, we will entertain you.”
