Dust off your dancing shoes

Support the Rotary Club of Kloof's 'Music and Show Trivia', a fundraiser music, song and dance evening at Kloof Country Club this Saturday.

THE Rotary Club of Kloof has partnered with the Kloof Country Club to present a fun music, song and dance evening this Saturday, 30 May.

The event, ‘Music and Show Trivia’, is a great opportunity to take family and friends out and enjoy a fun-filled evening.

The evening begins with a music and show quiz based on fun and amusing associations of live music. There is no need to be an expert as this is a fun evening. Included in the ticket price is a scrumptious designer burger, designer sweets as well as lots of super prizes. Live music will go on until late, so put on your dancing shoes if the mood takes you. MC and band leader is Colin Penn who, with his band, The Pennants, will entertain you and throw in plenty of gags along the way.

The venue will be laid out to accommodate tables of 10. There will be place for a maximum of 250 participants. You can either get your own party of 10 together or join with others who attend to form a team. There will be fun spot prizes, booby prizes and prizes for the winning and runner-up tables.

In addition there will be a raffle of three SPAR hampers as well as a liquor hamper, and a highlight of the evening will be an auction of paintings by Charmaine Eastment, Lorna Panzenbröck and Helene Conradie. In addition to the paintings, a Yamaha keyboard and a six-month Kloof Country Club membership subscription will be auctioned.

Tickets, which cost R150 each, are available from the Kloof Country Club reception. The proceeds of the evening will be split between Kloof Rest Home and the Kloof Country Club.

Space is limited, so don’t delay. Purchase a ticket to book your place. Get your voices tuned up and dust off your dancing shoes: the event promises to be a great evening.
