Sequel to Boolulu Uncle returns to Catalina Theatre

Catch comedian, Senzo Mthethwa, in 'Boolulu Uncle 2' at the Catalina Theatre from 8 to 18 May.

SENZO Mthethwa returns to the Catalina Theatre after his nine-week sold-out run in 2010 with the much-awaited sequel to his hit show, ‘The Boolulu Uncle’.

The show premiered at The Playhouse Loft Theatre. This charming sequel to ‘Boolulu Uncle’ sees Senzo Mthethwa enacting more delightful stories from his experiences growing up as a young Zulu boy in an Indian home.

The play traces his youth and takes the audience on a journey from porridge prayers to a funeral. The play is also brilliantly scripted and traverses the rich tapestry of two majestic cultures – Hindu and Zulu. This Dingalings Productions play is written and directed by Kumseela Naidoo and promises to be a wonderful evening out.

Tickets are R120 each from 8 to 18 May at 8pm, and on Sunday, 17 May at 4pm and 6pm. The show ends on Monday, 18 May. Bookings are through Computicket, Checkers/Shoprite or at the theatre box office on 031 837 5999 or info@catalinatheatre.com on the day, should seats be available. There is also a show and meal option at Spur and John Dory’s, available from Computicket.
