THE Whisky Live Showroom returns to Durban on 24 and 25 April, when Suncoast’s Sun Zone will again host the exciting boutique-style tasting event with some of the world’s finest whiskies.
This intimate showcase of 80 whiskies gives ‘fans of the dram’ the opportunity to sample some of the rarest, most intriguing expressions, with more exhibitors putting their wares on display than ever before.
The Whisky Live Showrooms have been carefully curated to offer a blend of tasting experiences, along with opportunities to engage with world-leading experts in the category. Not only will the various whiskies be available for tasting, several brands will offer special deals at the event.
Tickets to the Whisky Live Showroom in Durban cost R170 each (www.whiskylivefestival.co.za) and include a complimentary tasting glass, a 500ml bottle of Valpré water and 15 tasting vouchers. The first 500 visitors through the doors each night will receive a free copy of the 2015 Whisky Handbook, and those who register for the Whisky Live Festival Club at the event will get R20 cash back, or an extra five tasting vouchers.
