Win tickets to see SA’s hottest acts perform at Splashy Fen

Find out how you can win two pairs of tickets to Splashy Fen.

MATTHEW Mole, Shortstraw, aKING and Dan Patlansky are among the many top live acts set to perform for thousands of fans at this year’s Splashy Fen Music Festival over the Easter long weekend from 2 to 6 April.

Also on the bill are the likes of Taxi Violence, KAHN (frontman for The Parlotones), MonArk, Beast, Hot Water, Urban Creep, The Muffinz, Mickey Burns, The Anti Retro Vinyls, Nakhane Toure, Die Wolvedans, Majozi, Reburn, The Kiffness, Pascal and Pearce and 5FM DJ Catherine Grenfell, among many others.

Event organiser, Pedro Carlo, said festival-goers can expect an awesome line-up of the best in SA music, featuring many big names as well as some of the hottest new acts on the music scene.

“Visitors can also look forward to multiple stages and a new EDM marquee, featuring more than 30 DJs, as well as a craft beer arena, drum village, loads of food outlets and a colourful craft market and retail zone. For the more energetic there will also be dirt boarding and a fun trail run presented by Trail Magazine,” said Carlo.

Held on a farm near Underberg in KwaZulu-Natal, Splashy Fen has been going strong since 1990 and is South Africa’s longest-running annual music festival. With its spectacular mountain setting, winding river, open fields and unique vibe and character there is simply nothing else quite like it.

Tickets cost R625 each through Computicket and include camping for the entire four-night, five-day festival.

Competition lines  close at midnight on Sunday, 8 March. Winners will be contacted during the week. The winners’ names (plus one guest each) will be added to the gate list. When they get to Splashy they’ll simply need to show some form of identification in order to collect their free passes. Terms and conditions apply.

The tickets are for festival entry only, including camping, from 2 to 6 April. Winners will be responsible for their own transport and need to take along their own camping gear.

Tickets are not transferable and may not be exchanged for cash. Persons under the age of 18 will only be allowed into Splashy Fen if they are under parental supervision.
