Festive panto takes you on a magical adventure

Check out the magical adventures of Aladdin at the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre from 5 December to 11 January 2015.

KICKSTART is set to dazzle old and young alike with its latest festive family pantomime, Aladdin, which runs at the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre at UKZN from 5 December until 11 January 2015.

The magical adventures of Aladdin and his enchanted lamp follows the popular tradition of previous KickstArt family entertainments such as Jack and the Beanstalk, Robin Hood, Snow White and Cinderella.

Featuring popular songs, jokes galore, glamourous costumes, and amazing sets ranging from a Cave of Wonders full of dancing jewels to a golden Chinese palace, Aladdin is a must-see in anyone’s holiday diary.

It stars performers, Bryan Hiles (Wishee Washee), Darren King (Widow Twankey), Iain Robinson (Abanazar, the evil magician), Georgina Mabbett (Princess Jasmine) and Rory Booth (Genie of the Ring), and introduces exciting newcomer Nathan Kruger as Aladdin. It is written and directed by Steven Stead, designed by Greg King with lighting by Tina le Roux.

The KickstArt pantomime usually sells out well in advance, so book early to avoid disappointment.
