Stand up comedian takes to iZulu Theatre stage

COMEDIAN, Mervyn Pillay, encores at Sibaya Casino and Entertainment Kingdom’s iZulu Theatre with his second one-man, adult stand-up comedy show, One Nite Only, on Saturday 27 September.
The outrageously funny show is a follow on from his first solo production, One Nite Stand, which enjoyed great reviews with audiences at Sibaya in 2012.
His new show has a bit of everything thrown in, from old school clubbing, languages, beauty pageants, to Bollywood goes porn. The show is filled with the many experiences Pillay has had as a boy, son, father, son-in-law and a South African Indian.
Pillay, who has being doing stand-up comedy for nearly two decades, has had the opportunity to share the stage with some of SA’s top entertainers and comedians. He has performed across the country in shows including, Back In Time, 150 Years of Laughing, Bollywood Comedy Night, Braz Oues In Concert, Durban Comedy Festival and the recently staged, Aunty Rumba and Friends.
The show carries a “no under 18” age restriction. Tickets cost R100 and R120 each and booking is through Computicket.
