EFF tells Zuma to #PayBackTheMoney

Parliamentary provocateur and leader of the Economic Freedom Front brought the house to a standstill today when he and fellow EFF MPs demanded President Jacob Zuma pay back the money spent on upgrades at his Nkandla home during a seating at the National Assemble this afternoon.

Malema was responding to Zuma’s answer about the costs of the upgrades, which he found unsatisfactory.

The ennsuing shouting match involving members of the EFF and National Assembly speaker Baleka Mbete led to the speaker calling for the National Assembly to be suspended to remove MPs who were “not serious” from the house.

EFF MPs refused to leave, chanting, “Pay back the money!” before the live feed was cut from parliament.

Public order police have been called into parliament, presumably to remove members of the EFF.
