WITH a crash of drums and a flash of light Westville Boys’ High School once again takes flight with its headline production for this year, the ever-popular Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor® Dreamcoat.

The show is set to enthrall audiences of all ages, as more than 100 young performers take to the stage in one of the most ambitious versions of this production that a Durban school has seen in many years.

Filled with youthful energy, Joseph combines a wide variety of musical styles, from country and calypso to rock ‘n roll.

Described as a high-voltage extravaganza, Joseph includes such classic songs as the contemplative Any Dream Will Do, the Caribbean infused Benjamin Calypso, the dazzling Jacob and Sons, the rockabilly sensation Song of the Kingand the unforgettable Go, Go, Go Joseph.

Performances will take place from Tuesday 29 July until Sunday 10 August. Evening shows start at 7pm, all matinees start at 3pm.

Tickets range in price from R30 to R100, and are on sale from the school from 10am to 11.30am, and 1pm to 2pm from Monday to Friday.
