Drag yourself down to Valentines show

If you thought this Valentine’s Day would be a drag, don't miss this Valentine’s show.

DON’T miss the comic lip-sync drag show titled, Stupid Cupid – Valentine is such a drag, at the Rhumbelow Theatre in Umbilo from next weekend.

Stupid Cupid takes a look at the ups and downs of love, and features Derek Pearce, Greg Baptie, Roland Stansell, and Alan Quihampton. This year they will be joined by two of Durban’s hottest guys – Selwyn Rautenbach and Clinton Green.

It is every ‘girls’ dream to have a hot date for Valentine’s Day and wow did the girls find their date all right. This Hip-hop Valentine love is not for the weak and insecure. It celebrates desire, bliss and the high of new beginnings, the lows of rejection, betrayal and loss as well as the promise and joy of true commitment.

If you thought you knew all that you needed to know about life, love, Valentine, marriage and relationships, just wait for Ruby Wacked, Alexa, Burley Chassis and Cut Glass Cathy to show you their side of life, love, Valentine, marriage and relationships as they tussle their love with the Statik boys.

Note: This is not for the die hard romantic who thinks all relationships come up smelling of roses.

Shows are on Friday 14 February and Saturday 15 February at 8pm, and Sunday 16 February at 2pm and then again at 6.30pm. The venue, on Cunningham Avenue – off Bartle Road in Umbilo, will open 90 minutes before the show for a picnic dinner. Take your own food picnic basket.
