Get into the christmas spirit

THE Durban Catholic Players Guild in association with the Knights of Da Gama present Carols By Candlelight, an annual theatrical presentation of Christ’s birth on Sunday 15 December at 7pm at the Greyville racecourse.It features popular carols sung by all and led by St Michael’s choir.

People are invited to bring a new (or used) toy to be donated during a special procession, in which the ‘gifts’ are laid about the manger. The toys will be given to underprivileged children by The Knights of da Gama.

Families are encouraged to come early with a picnic basket to enjoy on the grassy area in front of the stands before the presentation. The production will proceed under all weather conditions with sheltered seating and secure parking.
