ROCK out at the Heritage Theatre in Hillcrest, with their new show, 5 Decades of Rock, from 15 October to 17 November.

The annual sojourn into the annals of hard rock takes on a variety of styles, genres and eras of rock music this year as it attempts to cover five decades of the greatest songs by some of the greatest musicians in rock history.

A talented six-piece ensemble of Dawn Selby, Barry Thomson, Ross Tapson, Mali Sewell and Jason Andrew fronted by rock vocalist Jerryn Fosteras, will present, some of the all time great rock classics.

Expect to hear numbers from bands such as Pink Floyd, The Who, Queen, Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Led Zeppelin, Nickelback, Black Sabbath, Guns ‘n Roses, Metalica and Nirvana.

With hits like Tie Your Mother Down, My Generation, Back In Black, Learn To Fly, Sweet Child ‘o Mine and American Idiot, patrons are guaranteed a night of traditional hard rock classics from the 60s to the new millennium, interwoven with memorable nostalgic rock ballads.

There are three preview specials on 15, 16 and 17 October when a limited number of tickets are available on a buy-one-get-one-free basis.

Tickets cost R195 each Wednesday to Saturday and R165 each on Tuesday evenings and Sunday lunch time. Prices include a delicious two-course meal.
