DURBAN musician, Rowan Stuart, will return to the stage at Bluestockings in Kloof, for an intimate acoustic performance on Friday 4 October at 7pm.
This bohemian house-concert venue in Kloof is an ideal setting for Rowan to showcase his eclectic and colourful songwriting.
Armed with only an acoustic guitar and a loop pedal, Rowan paints a sonic landscape of acoustic alternative music, incorporating elements of folk, pop and world music, into a sound that is both deep and authentic.
Rowan has been on tour around South Africa with his new solo set, which includes an exciting batch of new material, written exclusively for the solo acoustic format. He is currently working on an acoustic recording, following popular demand from his fans for the new songs in his repertoire, and hopes to release it in the near future.
The evening at Bluestockings will include a special guest performance by talented singer and guitarist Lester de Freitas.
