Sarah makes a splash at popular events

The Westville Girls' learner, started her paddling career last year August.

WESTVILLE Girls’ learner, Sarah Jones recently competed in two well-known South African paddling races, featuring top paddlers throughout the country.

On Saturday, 12 June, she participated in the oldest surf ski race in the Marine Series – Pirates Umhlanga Pirates. Together with her paddling partner, Matt Millward, they were placed first in the 28 kms junior mixed doubles .

Sarah started her paddling career in August 2020.

In King of the Bay, a race that had tough and challenging conditions held on 30 May, Sarah was placed second in the junior girls under 18 doubles, along with her partner, Tayla Isaac.
