Full steam ahead for 2021 Dusi

While no supporters are allowed to gather for the race, The Valley of a 1000 Hills Community Tourism Organisation has come up with a list of fun alternatives.

THE Valley of a 1000 Hills Community Tourism Organisation has thrown its support behind the 2021 MyLife Dusi Canoe Marathon that will be held from Thursday, 18 to Saturday, 20 March.

2021 marks the 70th anniversary of the iconic race and, with the Covid-19 regulations in place, means there will be no spectators, no registration or prize giving and no added social events this year.

While the race is underway, families and supporters of the canoeists can sign up for the Umgeni Steam Railway, which has trips over the Dusi weekend.
