Hillcrest family gear up for sani2c

The family of five will head on up to Underberg this week for the annual adventure race.

HILLCREST’S Camp family are eager to take on the KAP sani2c Adventure, a three-day mountain bike race from Underberg to Scottburgh, to raise funds for a charity in need, this December.

The mountain biking Camp family will head off to Underberg soon to compete in the three-day mountain bike stage race that spans 265kms to Scottburgh.

The Camp family members who will be riding include Martin (55), Tim (18) Nicholas (23) and Matthew (20).

They will be supported by ‘mom’ Alyson along the route, making it a full family affair.

“We are an old Hillcrest family and we have all ridden and raced in both downhill and the KZN enduro series for many years. I have already done five sani2cs, one with each of my two older boys individually and this year it was decided to do it not only with my youngest Tim for the first time, but with all three of them as a family event. We are riding for the charity Jason Hall Live Life. Jason was paralysed in a MTB accident a few years ago,” said Martin.
