Golfers gather for Kloof SPCA

Dozens of avid golfers united to help raise much-needed funds for the Kloof and Highway SPCA recently.

DOZENS of golfers gathered for the South African Institute of Occupational Safety and Health’s (Saiosh) annual corporate golf day at the Mount Edgecombe Country Club in early March.

The players took to the field to compete for the prestigious Saiosh Jug, a replica of the Open Championship trophy, the Claret Jug. The day was supported by 14 hole sponsors and 15 4-balls.

Saiosh’s general manager, Gillian Nortjé, said, “It was a fun day with a scramble drive 4-ball alliance format. For the third year running, we identified the Kloof and Highway SPCA as the golf day beneficiary.”
