Thousands compete in Hillcrest Marathon

The annual event, hosted by the Hillcrest Villagers Athletics Club, has only continued to grow in support

MORE than 15 000 runners laced up to compete in the gruelling THRESHHold Hillcrest Marathon and Half Marathon events at the weekend.

The event, hosted by the Hillcrest Villagers Atheltics Club, started and finish at the Hillcrest Sports Club and saw 1 148 runners finish the marathon while 14 477 athletes completed the half marathon.
