Hillcrest athletes rake in time trial wins
It has been another successful year for the members of the Hillcrest Villagers' Athletics Club.
THE Hillcrest Villagers’ Athletic Club cleaned up recently as its ladies team won the 2019 Asics Highway Ladies Time Trial League and the men’s teams won the junior, senior and vets categories in the 2019 Larson Time Trial League.
The leagues are time trial competitions that are held throughout the year between all of the the Highway and Durban-based running clubs.

Hillcrest Villagers, with the help of its members, will send 40 of its fastest runners to compete in the Comrades Marathon in 2020 as part of an initiative to help promote the sport of running in the local community.
Registration is open for membership to the club in 2020.
