Take on a KZN Coastal Series adventure!

Pre-entries close on Friday, 11 October 2019 at midday but they will have on-the-day entries available (surcharge of R50 applies, U18s are exempt).

KZN Trail Running will welcome trail enthusiasts to the beauty of Blythedale on Sunday, 13 October.

The event marks the second stage of the 2019 Coastal Series that is held annually, across three stunning coastal venues.

The event offers three distances of 6km, 12km and 20km so there will be course for everyone! The trails cover diverse terrain – sections of sandy beach with sneaky dune-climbs, past the estuary and swamp mangrove and finally reaching the cooling shade of coastal forest.

The long and medium courses are good for testing your legs and getting a solid challenge for your training. While the short course is perfect for novices and whole families to get some outdoor time.

The KZNTR KidZone will be up and running, a service provided free of charge to all participants. The little ones (2yrs and over) are kept entertained with fun and stimulating activities under the watchful eyes of our experienced childminders.

The race village will be set up in the popular Blythedale Event Bowl with endless views of the sea. The trail community can expect wholesome KZN Trail Running hospitality with a fully stocked race village.

There will be scrumptious and affordable meals, with refreshing craft brews to keep your thirst at bay. Participants can indulge in post-trail sports massages and browse through trail gear that will be on sale.
