Race your heart out for charity

You can enter a team of five runners or three walkers in the Rotary Club of Hillcrest's second Charity Challenge Relay.

TEAM up this Heritage Day, Tuesday, 24 September, and compete in the Rotary Club of Hillcrest’s second Charity Challenge Relay at Hillcrest High School.

It is a fun team-building exercise and there are charity goodie bags and free t-shirts for competitors as well as great prizes for the winners. There will be activities and games on the day as well as the Kiddies Fun Run.

Registration is from 10am to 12.30pm and the race will start at 1pm.

The cost is R200 per runner and running teams need five members while walking teams only need three members.

Over and above the entrance fee, participants are encouraged to raise as much money as possible for their charity of choice.

The six charities you can support include Rotary Projects, LIV Village, CHOC COWS, Highway Hospice, Hillcrest AIDS Centre Trust and Project Rhino.
