TMC closes season on high

The local school raked in wins against Treverton and Danville as they closed off the rugby and hockey seasons.

THOMAS More College closed off its rugby and hockey seasons on a high as its teams claimed a slew of wins during a weekend of competitive games.

The high school 1st team hockey boys claimed a 3 – 2 win against Treverton while the 2nd team won 6 – 0 against their competition.

The high school’s 1st team girls took the win against Danville 2 – 1 and the 2nd team drew 0 – 0 in a closely contested match. The boys U16A won 2 – 0 against Treverton College and another big win was the girls U14A against Danville Park Girls’ High School with a score of 2 – 0 to Thomas More College.

The U13A senior primary rugby boys kept the energy levels high against Atholl Heights, where the young team claimed 5 – 0 win. Their high school 1st team counterparts finished their season strong with a 56 – 12 final score against Treverton.
