Lace up for a good cause to commemorate Youth Day

Race entries also include entrance into uShaka Marine World's Wet n Wild.

TO commemorate Youth Day, the Ntenga Foundation will host its fifth annual charity run from Moses Mabhida Stadium at 8am to  uShaka Marine World’s Wet ‘n Wild on Monday, 17 June.

The charity event brings together a superb blend of music and athletics to Durban. Almost 6 000 social runners, families and friends to participated in last year’s 5km or 10km run/walk events. Funds raised through the event are used to purchase school shoes for underprivileged children.

 

8am – both the 5km and 10km run/walk will kick off at People’s Park at Moses Mabhida Stadium.

10am – Mass aerobics marathon at uShaka Marine World’s Wet ‘n Wild pools.

10.30am – Prize-giving ceremony at uShaka Marine World.

11am – Post race entertainment at uShaka Marine World’s Wet ‘n Wild pools

 

Pre-entry costs are R130 per person.

To register, visit www.ntenga.com or at Pick n Pay stores. Online and manual entries close on Monday, 10 June at midnight. All entrants will receive a race number, a Ntenga Foundation t-shirt, a medal on completion of the race, entry into the post-race concert as well as one uShaka Marine World Wet ‘n Wild entrance ticket.
