Boktown is where the action is and now there’s one in Durban

MTN Boktown is a place where the most passionate South African supporters congregate for a uniquely Springbok Supporters experience.

NORTHWOOOD Crusaders in Durban North is one of the new venues hosting Boktown where you can enjoy great entertainment before and after watching the game.

Tickets are R30 per person tickets available online from Quicket and at the Northwood Crusaders Sports Club.

MTN is asking the nation to answer the call and connect with the Springboks by bringing Boktown back to rugby fans around the country.

This follows the recent initiative that the telecoms giant launched in May 2018, where one talented individual, The Bozza, will get the unique opportunity to follow the Springboks around the world – meaning he or she will be the exclusive “social eyes and ears” of South Africa’s rugby nation from the forthcoming Castle Lager Rugby Championship until the end of 2019.

Mapula Bodibe‚ executive for consumer business at MTN said: “The Springbok team remains an important national asset that many of us can identify with‚ and MTN Boktown is another way of connecting the nation to their passion – the Springboks.

“We are pleased to give our customers a platform that contributes to the growth of our national team and we urge our customers and rugby fans to continue supporting Bok Fridays by wearing their Springbok jerseys on Fridays for the incoming tour up to the 2019 Rugby World Cup and get to MTN Boktown on Test match days.”

The place where you just might find many of your Springboks and South African legends supporting the current generation of Springboks. You’ll get to chat to them and mingle, but mostly you’ll get to party, as only Springbok supporters know how.

MTN Boktown, brought to you by the official Springbok Supporters’ Club, creates a unique experience that goes beyond the 80 minutes of on-field action and gives South African rugby lovers the best alternative to being at the game.

Fans watch the test on the big screen but the entertainment starts long before the first whistle and continues long after the final whistle with live entertainment, prizes and giveaways, best dressed fan competition and activities for the kids.

It’s a Springbok rugby supporters’ dream experience that also speaks to the entire family.
