Cell C Sharks want to prove their mettle against Jaguares

Coach Rober du Preez commented that this Jaguares side is filled with internationals, to the extent that it is a just about a Test team.

THE Cell C Sharks will take confidence and momentum out of last week’s performance against the Chiefs for Friday night’s Vodacom Super Rugby clash with the Jaguares in Argentina.

Head coach Robert du Preez has again had the good fortune to be able to name an unchanged line-up, having retained the matchday 23 from last week’s match.

The old adage, ‘If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’ comes to mind when looking at the team and certainly it is about rewarding the players again for their quite outstanding effort against the New Zealanders.

As little change as possible works in our favour against a side, themselves high on confidence.

Coach Du Preez commented that this Jaguares side is filled with internationals, to the extent that it is a just about a Test team.

The Jaguares have been in outstanding form lately, their 54-24 victory over the Bulls last weekend sounding another warning that this team are finding their feet in Vodacom Super Rugby.

The Cell C Sharks players will look to prove their mettle, knowing that they have reached a point where every game is a must-win in the remaining pool stages of the tournament.
