BOOKINGS for club tent sites at the Comrades Marathon are open and running clubs are urged to secure their sites for race day on Sunday, 10 June.
CMA race director, Rowyn James, as the iconic Moses Mabhida Stadium is the confirmed finish venue for this year’s Comrades Marathon.
James said, “The interest in this years’ race has been profound, especially in light of the new finish venue which is a first for The Ultimate Human Race. In line with the facilities offered by this landmark location, it is our intention that our athletes and running clubs get to enjoy the best of the Moses Mabhida Stadium and the adjoining People’s Park.”

There will only be two designated areas for the clubs, either inside the Stadium or at the People’s Park Club tent site village. Inside the stadium, clubs will have a choice of either hospitality suites or a public seating area in the stadium off Level 3. This area will be cordoned off and clearly sign posted for each club. This area will have full view of the runners entering the stadium and finish line.
There will also be suites available inside the Moses Mabhida Stadium, on Levels 3 and 5. Details and prices of the various options are available on the Comrades website.
