ST Mary’s DSG’s Grade 4 learner, Simangele Stanton, was crowned the SA Tennis KZN Mini Series U10 Champion on 10 February.
Simangele has played tennis since she was four years old and attends extra tennis coaching with Jared Temlett. She also enjoys hockey and gymnastics. Simangele shines on the court and on stage. In her spare time she loves making music videos and dancing.

She represents St Mary’s DSG in the Primary School Orchestra as a violinist. Her dream is to ultimately become South Africa’s first female president. Simangele is proving that talent matched with dedication pays off.
