Nippers converge on Addington Beach for KZN champs

Make your way down to Addington Beach this weekend to catch the local and regional lifesaving clubs go head-to-head.

ADDINGTON Beach, on the southern end of Durban’s Golden Mile, will be a hive of activity on 27 and 28 January as junior lifesavers will gather for the SPAR Sola KZN Nipper Surf Lifesaving Championships.

Hosted by Marine Surf Lifesaving Club, the event features a programme of beach and surf events, fuelling a healthy rivalry between the strong Durban clubs. These include Pirates, Durban Surf, Marine and Umhlanga Rocks as well as the north and south coast clubs.
