Paddling brothers make a splash

The Botha's Hill women's team snapped up the top spot from race favourites, Christie Mackenzie and Bridgette Hartley.

THE Umzinyathi Canoe Club hosted paddlers from around the country in the annual 50 Miler Canoe Marathon, presented by StaminGro, this weekend in the Inanda Valley.

It is a major qualifier for the Dusi Canoe Marathon in February, and more than 400 paddlers tackled the testing route, which is a combination of the end of day one and early parts of day two stages of the Dusi.
