Runners to enjoy revamped route
Online entries for the uMhlanga Trail Run close on 14 December.
A REVAMPED route awaits runners in the annual uMhlanga Trail Run as the start and finish is at Sibaya Casino and Entertainment World on Sunday, 17 December.
Three distances will be on offer to challenge participants.
The longer, more testing 18km will include at least one river crossing while the 12km, aimed at the less hard-core trailers, will also lead the athletes through at least one river. There is also a shorter 5km race.

The entry fee is R150 for the main 18km race, the 12km is R130 and the fun 5km race is R80.
Online entries close on 14 December and no entries will be taken on the day. There will be prize money and loads of lucky draws.
Race registration takes place from 5am and the start time is 6am for the 12km and 18km routes.
The 5km fun race will kick off five minutes later.
