Cyclists raise funds for Husky Rescue KZN

Russell Smith and Cavill Cordes raised R1 800 during the Amashova race.

EACH year, a group of amazing cyclists, the Amashova Husky Angels, dedicate their Amashova bicycle race to Husky Rescue KZN.

The 2017 husky angels, Russell Smith and Cavill Cordes, raised a fantastic R1 800 which will be used for operating expenses at Husky Rescue KZN.

Husky Rescue KZN is a registered NPO that rescues, rehabilitates and re-homes huskies and husky-like dogs.

With the current economic climate and many families downsizing, being retrenched and emigrating, the NPO is being inunated with requests to take in huskies needing homes.

These funds cover costs from rental, wages, dog food and veterinary bills.

Should anyone be interested in helping, donating or adopting, they are encouraged to visit www.huskyrescuekzn.co.za.
