Scholarships awarded to 18 Highbury boys

The scholarships include Kearsney (4), Michaelhouse (2), Hilton (4), Maritzburg College (2), Thomas More (2), Curro High School (3) and Westville Boys' High (1).

HIGHBURY Preparatory School is proud to announce that 18 of it Grade 7 boys from the Class of 2017 have been awarded scholarships for their college/high school of choice.

The scholarships include Kearsney (4), Michaelhouse (2), Hilton (4), Maritzburg College (2), Thomas More (2), Curro High School (3) and Westville Boys’ High (1).

Marketing assistant at Highbury, Jacqui Maurice, congratulated each of these young gentlemen.

“There are 67 boys in Grade 7 at Highbury this year, which means that over one in four of our Class of 2017 have attained scholarships.

Highbury has always strived to offer boys a well-rounded education through a balance of academics, culture and sport.

This all-round approach is reflected in the fact that the scholarships have been awarded for a range of talents, from music to academics to sports, as well as many of them being for ‘All Round Excellence’,” she said.
